I painted the logo and hours of operation on the doors of Shout and About’s two locations in San Diego.


I painted two window signs for Woodcat Coffee in Echo Park. Designed in collaboration with the owner. One Shot enamel painted in reverse.


I was hired by Chalk and Brush Design Co. to paint three large murals (above), two lettered signs (below), and one enamel portrait of a cowgirl (below) for The Venetian’s new foodcourt in Las Vegas.


I painted a window sign, open/close sign, and two interior door signs for the stationery store Shorthand at their newest location in San Anselmo.


Refurbished this old sign for Toluca Lake Cottages by stripping it down to its bones on both sides, and repainting it with a new design and color palette in One Shot enamel. Rounded off the corners to solve for some chipping of the aged wood. Each side had double-sided metal inserts I also repainted by hand with One Shot enamel.


I painted two signs for the The Children’s Place Montessori School in Torrence, CA, one for each of their buildings— the Elementary School and the Pre-School. The first one (above) was painted with One Shot enamel on a piece of metal directly on the building. The second (below) was painted with One Shot enamel on custom-cut MDO wood and then hung up on the facade of the building. Both signs were designed and fully hand painted by me.


I was hired by L Star Murals (Lauren McElroy) as part of a team to paint a massive mural she designed in Sherman Oaks at Citrus Commons.

Sign Graphics semester 4 Direct Layout Antique Sign. Designed and hand-lettered without a computerized pattern, water-base Nova Color paint on hardboard masonite cut with a jigsaw. After painting I created an antique effect using sandpaper, a razor blade, burnt umber artist oil, and other techniques.

Sign Graphics semester 4 Self Promo Contour-Cut Sign. One Shot enamel on MDO plywood cut with a jigsaw. 22K gold leaf. The sign design was inspired by the neon sign above which was formerly displayed on Beverly Boulevard in Koreatown outside of a liquor store. It is sadly no longer with us, but was one of the first signs I ever came upon in LA that stopped me in my tracks, and inspired me to start getting into the world of signs myself.

I participated in an art show hosted by Greyscale Tattoo Studio in Anaheim, CA, in which artists used skateboards to reflect where they are from. I painted an homage to the beloved cigar and tobacco shop in my hometown of New Haven, CT called The Owl Shop. One Shot enamel on wood.


I designed and hand-painted an A-frame sign for Side Pie Marketplace in Altadena, CA. I hand-lettered the “Marketplace” script in the design. One Shot enamel on wood.

I designed a typeface for the opening title sequence of the independent film Prison Logic. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the font, and illustrated the storyboards, handcuffed inmates, and industrial-sized magnets for the animation.
